<sub>why can't i win anywhere  

my friend (bless her heart) gave me her old tablet so now i can draw but it's final exams season so lmao RIP my desire to draw :'U i fucken hate</sub>

so i got my tablet fixed and it arrived to me via mail yesterday. my brother's friend rewired it for me cause it was experiencing some connectivity problems or smth idk. i think i bought this tablet like four or five years ago for $75 and have had some problems here and there, but nothing major so I guess i got my money's worth out of it, but w/e. it's a wacom bamboo ctl-470. 

so i used it yesterday to finish a commission and it was working like a dream; the connection wasn't going in and out, the sensitivity was spot on. all in all, a good experience! i was super psyched to be using it again today to work on another commission, but when i inserted the USB, it was being really strange and kept disconnecting. so I pulled the usb chord out and this happened:



 

The little usb jack thing popped out a little. i panicked like a little bitch for a second, took a deep breath, and kinda pushed it back in hoping that it would magically start working again once i inserted the usb chord again. 



it didn't work. the blue light indicator didn't turn on. by this point, i had pretty much accepted my fate because i know my luck reeks and ofc this would happen to me. so i slowly jimmy the usb chord back out and tHEN ALL HELL P MUCH BREAKS LOSE ON THE USB JACK

so idk why this happened or how to fix it but im hoping someone might have a suggestion. i would ask my brother's friend to fix it for me, but he jUST fixed the wiring and FOR FREE so i feel too guilty lmao fuck me life. i might end up having to just get a new tablet. :''(

TL;DR: my tablet is broken. again. if u know how to fix this problemo pls tell me b/c i am emotionally committed to my tablet (and i donut want to spend a lot of $$$ on a new one)

but also i moved to houston and am now attending UH. the first week just ended and i need a little more time to get accustomed to my timetable before I can start working on things other than school.

So, I had my laptop confiscated at Chicago Midway Airport for a reason that's too tiring to type out on my phone right now so you'll have to do your best to imagine a scenario where that would happen. I'm currently fighting to get it back.

Obviously, this puts literally EVERYTHING on the back burner. From commissions, to RP groups, to new projects...I can't do anything without my laptop. My life is pretty hectic right now; I'm moving to Houston on the 17th to begin college, pondering a lawsuit against Chicago Midway for violating my first amendment rights, and have no computer access to anything. I'm sure y'all understand the precarious situation in which I've found myself. 

Your patience is very appreciated. 

college takes like 987654345678987654345678 days to prepare for 

my workload is at like 120% capacity, it's overflowing all over the place

i leave for chicago in like 4 days but ??????? i haven't even dry cleaned my suits yet 

my tablet is still out of pocket and my hands are itching for digital art 

don't know how to make friends in real life i think i scared tf out of my roommate with the capacity of my puns 

i just spilled dr. pepper on myself like three minutes ago and my fingers are sticky and i think i might have diabetes because i drink like 40 dr. peppers a day 

so yeah im sorry if im being utterly annoying lately
