_{I BROKE MY DOMINANT HAND Drawing this was a pain and I'm not at all pleased with how it came out.

Not Available: Larkin's birthday is unknown, so calculating his exact age is impossible. He looks to be somewhere in his early to mid twenties, however he has lived far longer than that. He seems to have been in existence for a rather lengthy period of time, however he is not conscious of his early years.

6'6" (about 2 m, about 200 cm)

Species:
Personification of Music: Larkin was brought into existence accidentally by black magic. That is all that is known.

His personality is very noncommittal, because of this (and because he wandered the majority of his conscious life) he likes to say he has no definite place of residence. He often wanders and takes up temporary residence at Inns or Taverns. However he owns a penthouse in Pratus City, because he enjoys having a home to return to. Plus, all his mail has to go somewhere, right?

Likes:
Music, hollaaa.
His favorite musical instrument is piano, but he enjoys the portability of his guitar.
T-shirts; he always wears a different t-shirt, however they are always the same shade of blue. Usually, the t-shirts have something to do with music, but sometimes they have obscene images that amuse him on them.
Singing; he makes money by stripping singing along with playing whatever instrument he has on him at the time. He also believes that singing solves problems, so if someone were to get angry with him, he'd probably sing to them.
Nighttime.

Dislikes:
Silence; he thinks silence weighs heavy and will go to great lengths to keep things from becoming dead silent.
Loneliness.
Being tied down; Larkin is a free-spirit and attempting to tie him down would be a bad idea.
Conflict; despite being fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and having a good hold on his abilities, he dislikes conflict quite a bit. He would much rather talk things out than use fists. Conflict, in his opinion, is messy, time consuming, and does not solve the original problem.

Abilities:
Siren-like abilities: He has many properties of a Siren such as the ability to enchant through song, persuasion, and the ability to alter his appearance. The alterations he can perform on his appearance are limited to one which appears fully human, his sub-human form, and his "true" form. His most frequent alterations are usually of the mouth; giving him human-like teeth and a tongue while eating.
Soundwave Manipulation: This is somewhat a form of telekinesis; he can manipulate sounds with his mind and can change pitches by blinking. This comes in handy when meaning to scramble messages between opposing forces, and also the manipulation of pitch gives him the ability to burst eardrums. Soundwave Manipulation also refers to the fact that he is able to pull sound into a corporeal state. He can snatch sound from midair with his hands, catching the waves between his fingers and forming them into something resembling a radioactive jumble of thin wires.
Voice Manipulation: This includes the ability to throw his voice, change pitch till he sounds almost like a different person, mockery, and ventriloquism (shutupthisisuseful).

Weaknesses:
Brute force and strength are on his side, however he is not fast. :I
All his abilities can pretty much be thwarted if an opponent were to stuff their ears full of wax (ifyougetthisreference,Irespectyou)
Endurance is a plus for him, however he sucks at sprinting and extended periods of strenuous activity excluding sex //hit.

Goals:
Though he is not extremely keen on this, it is something he would like to see accomplished: the overall goal of helping to restore Voravalles to it's previously peaceful state.
Spread music; one of the reasons why he enjoys travel and wandering is because he can spread song. He believes that his purpose in life, since he is classified as the personification of music, is to bring music to the lives of others.
Simply make the world a better place, man.

Personality:
[Noncommittal || Friendly || Flirtatious || Suave || Even-tempered || Can't-be-bothered-to-properly-give-a-fuck-unless-you-are-talking-about-actual-fucking || Lazy || Insomniac || Calculative] - Larkin strongly dislikes being tied down; whether that be to a relationship, a city, a flat, whatever; he absolutely despises it. Ever since he gained consciousness, he has been wandering; because of this, he has developed an unhealthy habit of disappearing for weeks on end or quickly abandoning homes/people. It isn't that he has stopped caring for that person or place, it is simply that he has grown antsy and feels the need to travel. Given this circumstance, the fact that he has taken the initiative to purchase a flat is extraordinary. Whoever can tie him down to something will have accomplished a feat deemed impossible by himself and by those he has promptly abandoned.

Larkin is very friendly; he enjoys engaging in conversation, meeting new people, and making new friends. Perhaps it is because of his species, but he fears being lonely which is another reason for his traveling. Since he lives alone, he often feels isolated. He has never had family so he has always been alone. To escape isolation, he wanders and speaks with whoever he can. For Larkin, friendliness and flirting go hand in hand. He is a strong believer of casual flirting and (being bisexual), it applies to everyone. He casual-flirts so much, that it begins to sound like normal conversation. Since he has found compliments yield positive reactions, he flirts without thinking about consequences. It is normal for him.

Larkin takes great pride in his confidence and elegance; he is always confident about himself and his abilities. His self-confidence is borderline prideful. He is a smooth-talker and he is graceful in small things such as the way he holds himself or touches things. He is easy to converse with not only because he is friendly, but also because he finds interaction effortless and is really quite a suave individual.

Although he may get annoyed, it takes a lot for Larkin to lose his temper simply because he is a very chill individual. His lack of
mercuriality is good when making friends, however is also makes him a bit apathetic. He does want to restore Voravalles to it's former glory and find out more about it's Heart, however, more often than not, he simply can't be bothered which is actually pretty annoying what the actual fuck. Since he is casually lazy (eg. procrastination, not picking up after himself sometimes, lazy with his appearance), it reflects a lot on this goal.

One major part of Larkin is his incurable insomnia. He has always had this and will go weeks at a time with little to no sleep only because he cannot turn off his mind. Because of this, he often dozes off or has a fatigued appearance.

Although Larkin isn't judgmental per se, however he does form judgments. These are two different things; judgmental is defined as "having or displaying an excessively critical point of view" (which isn't necessarily true about Larkin; what he does is more personality profiling and that is usually not critical and more fact-based -> eg. how people act towards him/others) and judgments are defined as "sensible conclusions". Given these definitions, what Larkin takes part in can only be described as Personality Profiling (as mentioned before). This this event, Personality Profiling is defined as simply forming sensible conclusions through basic observational and calculation techniques based upon the actions of the opposing party. What makes Larkin calculative (and also slightly manipulative) is his ability to use these conclusions to his advantage.

History:
Larkin has always been in existence; he was in the steady beats of a drum, the twang of a guitar, the melody of a young voice. He did not, however, gain consciousness till a group of young Mages tampered with black magicks and created a corporeal body for him. They were quick to send him away, terrified of upsetting their master, of someone uncovering their deed. He wandered aimlessly through Voravalles after being cast out, making money here and there through song. He was, however, content with the life he was leading. Voravalles of old was a community shrouded in peace and a busyness that was comparable to a beehive. Larkin resided with many families during his travels; making friends, sometimes finding a lover in the mix. He crafted instruments, spread the joy of song, did what he was meant to.

He, like the other residents, was so drunk with the glee of peace that he did not see the fall coming. When towns that were only a day before full of busybodies and the light chatter of civilization became nothing but skeletons of a grand being, Larkin felt the calamity of the situation the way some felt when being shot. When the factions arose, he was quick to join Clamour; not only because the faction aimed to restore Voravalles, but also because they had the most territory.
